I purchased a 4 piece measuring cup set from a local dollar store. I only required the half cup for measuring our dog food, but I did not have a use for the other measuring cup pieces. I needed a container to move my pins around that would be handy, my resolution: the one cup measuring cup. I added a magnet inside and on the bottom (to keep the inside one in place), easy enough to hold several pins, a handle to hang onto so I am able move them easily and the handle sits under my sewing machine nicely, for removing and placing pins back in while sewing. The other measuring cups I have used for "cut" threads at my machine or on an end table while watching TV.
